Key Stage 4

At Key Stage 4 at Ardmore, students work towards getting GCSEs, similar qualifications, or Entry Level qualifications from OCNNI that match their abilities. We offer a variety of subjects, including stand-alone qualifications like Literacy and Communication, Application of Number, Personal Success, Wellbeing, UICT, Religion, and Art and Design.

Our Vocational Skills qualification is a unique course, made up of smaller units covering areas such as Music, Hospitality and Catering, Adventure Studies, Sports and Fitness, and Employability Skills. It gives students a taste of different learning areas.

Exciting news! In September 2023, we launched a pilot program in partnership with South Eastern Regional College. Year 12 students can now take part in lessons involving woodwork, plumbing, and brickwork. This pilot program helps students earn more credits towards their OCNNI Vocational Skill qualification.

We're all about providing diverse opportunities for our students to learn and succeed!
